San Sebastián de Buenavista Magdalena; the land of chandé, is a municipality located to the south of the departament of magdalena where good, humble, simple people of good customs and forward-thinking people can be found. The Magdalena river, and the San Sebastianera land are witnesses of the hard work that our fishermen and peasants do daily to follow a tradition that our acestors have left us. A canoe, a paddle, a cast net, a machete, a hat, musical instruments, dances and costumes are representative insignia of the triethnic history of the chaneros.
